I make EPS foam letters that look just like the famous HOLLYWOOD SIGN
What's EPS foam? EPS stands for Expanded Polystyrene
which is frequently incorrectly called Styrofoam.
Styrofoam is actually a brand name of a different product.
The EPS foam that I make HOLLYWOOD LETTERS from is a special
2 pound density virgin (brand new) foam which has been sanded
on both the front and back surfaces, making it more smooth.
This makes it look much better than store bought insulation foam.
And it's stronger - most of the white insulation foam in stores
is made from recycled (used) foam that's only 0.8 pounds.
